A completion certificate confirms that the works have been inspected and comply with the Building Regulations. It is required by solicitors and mortgage lenders when selling or remortgaging a property. Without a completion certificate, a property transaction may be delayed or fall through.

If the contractor did not arrange a completion inspection, the Building Control application may still be open. LateShield can contact Building Control to establish the position and coordinate a completion inspection.
